About Mike

Mike started the practice of law in 1990, as a deputy public defender in San Francisco, California. In 1999, he founded the Law Offices of Michael P. Guingona across the street from the Hall of Justice.

For 26 years he has devoted his practice to defending those accused of crimes. although mostly in California, he has represented clients n Arizona and Nevada, as well as Federal Court.

Mike understands the effect a criminal case can have on all aspects of a person's life. He has extensive knowledge regarding alternatives to incarceration, drug treatment program placement and rehabilitation programs. His experience in handling a variety of cases in different jurisdictions gives him the versatility, knowledge and creativity to provide a vigorous defense for his clients.

Mike's office is located at 1161 Mission Street, 5th Floor in San Francisco, near the Civic Center.
